Plysolene
PIB sheeting is the ideal waterproofing membrane for pipework and
ventilation ductwork.
PIB was developed over 30 years ago and is
still produced in the UK to the same exacting specification. It
has proved its outstanding properties in conditions ranging from
-30°C to over 100°C. Physical tests have shown that virtually
no deterioration has occurred.
Plysolene PIB has been used in the construction of power stations
in all five continents of the world.
Plysolene was and still is preferred by the majority of lagging
contractors because it is easy to use. Demanding and difficult shapes
and joints are simply cut and welded on site. Originally the product
was used exclusively on insulated pipework and this grew to include
insulated ductwork in H&V installations. More recently the Plysolene
PIB is used for expansion joints and other waterproofing applications
in oil refineries and chemical works the world over. In recent years
Plysolene has seen an encouraging increase in worldwide sales. |
